Corey Braunschweig update:
Received notice that Corey Braunschweig will be home on leave starting the last week of September. Please thank him for serving if you’re in attendance at the church service that we will be recognizing him.
Galen Patterson Update:
Currently attached to the Reservist PICO Co in Afghanistan. Galen’s mom said he sounded good, strong & wanted to thank everyone for the letters & pkgs. He is grateful to be remembered & said the things sent were “dead on”. The guys couldn’t wait for the boxes to be opened. He has lost 30 lbs since deployment & the weather is cooling down @ night. Daytime temps are around 90-95 vs 130 so at night they’re looking for blankets now. They built a new chow hall & named it Shiloh. Once a week or so they get a herd of camels that streak through their compound. They don’t know where they come from or where they go but they’re like clock work.
Galen will be leaving Nov. 15 & will be on starting his leave Dec.12th w/29 days off. He’ll be home for Christmas so please be sure & shake his hand when he comes to visit Celebration Church during that time.
